On April 24, a report on the exemplary deeds of Shan Xinghua, the "Role Model of the Times," was held at the Great Hall of the People. Shan is Chief Researcher of China Academy of Railway Sciences Group Co., Ltd. and Chief Engineer of the China Railway 12306 Technology Center. In December 2024, the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee conferred the title of "Role Model of the Times" upon Shan Xinghua.
