In the early morning of February 25, the chill of winter still lingered. At around 7:00 a.m., the square of Dingxibei Railway Station was bustling with people and filled with warmth. The launch ceremony for Dingxi’s 2026 “Spring Breeze Action” and the east-west labor cooperation dedicated train to Qingdao was held. Five hundred migrant workers from Dingxi, wearing uniform identifiers and carrying full luggage, boarded the G2096 high-speed railway train in an orderly manner and in high spirits. Through a point-to-point, one-stop closed-loop transport model, they set off for Qingdao to begin a new year of work.
This marks the sixth consecutive year that Dingxi has precisely matched labor demand in Qingdao after the Spring Festival by operating dedicated trains, building a bridge of cooperation between the two regions with thoughtful services and ensuring that migrant workers have secure travel, reliable employment opportunities and hope for increased income.
