On April 20, a CRE (Central Asia) Train fully loaded with auto parts, machinery equipment and other goods sounded its horn and departed from Liangxiang Railway Station in Beijing. The train will exit the country via Alataw Pass in Xinjiang before heading to Almaty, Kazakhstan.
This marks the first time Beijing has operated a regularly scheduled CRE (Central Asia) Train. The service will subsequently be normalized with a fixed frequency of one train per week, adding a stable and efficient new logistics corridor for connectivity and economic and trade exchanges between the capital and Central Asia, and contributing to the high-quality development of Belt and Road cooperation.
