Since the beginning of this year, more than 2,000 CRE trains have passed through the "Eastern Corridor," transporting over 200,000 TEUs of cargo, an increase of 44.8%.
The "Eastern Corridor" consists of three major railway ports: Manzhouli, Suifenhe and Tongjiangbei. To date, 27 stable routes have been established, reaching 14 countries including Poland, Germany and the Netherlands, and connecting over 60 domestic cities such as Changsha, Zhengzhou and Chengdu. The range of goods transported has expanded to over 1,000 categories, including high-value-added products such as electronic products, engineering machinery and finished automobiles.
To improve the timeliness of CRE train transport, railway stations have fully leveraged their role as backbone corridors for cross-border logistics, ensuring efficient customs clearance and transfer of trains.
